IT Refund

Dear Sir,

1.I had filed my income tax return dated 23 Oct.06 vide receipt no. 02784 for Assessment year 06-07 at income tax office Delhi, Ward 37 (2).

2.The refund cheque for an amount of Rs.5570 dated 19 july 07 was sent to my address which was returned undeleivered by postal department because of change in address.

3.I had approached the ward officer 37 (2) for re-issue of refund cheque and a request (Refund Order) was sent to CMP branch on 3 Dec 07.

4.A refund cheque of amount Rs.5570 was issued by CMP branch of SBI vide no... dated... but was returned undeleivered by postal department on 23 Jan 08 because of incorrect address.

5.I had contacted CMP branch ans was told to resend the refund order through concerned Ward office.

6.Since 23 Jan 08, i had visited Ward office so many times and was told that refund order had been sent but as per the CMP branch, they have not received any refund order till date.

7.May i request you to kindly look into the matter and help me getting my refund.
