Digital World/ Laptop DVD-ROM
DVD-Rom not working

Dear sir:

About a fortnight ago, I bought a internal DVD-Rom for my Laptop from Digital World in Goregaon (W).

The product was supposed to write a cd also. When I checked the CD writing was not happening.

I informed the Vendor/Supplier, who informed me that since he was not in town there was no Engineer to attend and the same would be attended on 23rd May, saturday.

I took the Laptop to the Vendor for attending to the problem.

The vendor said the charges for the solution would be additional.

The Invoice mentioned that the DVD-rom had a warranty for SIX months carry in. The vendor said that I need to bring in only the DVD-Rom which was internally attached to the Laptop. I found this absurd, as this would have to be done by another vendor.

Please advice.
