Do Not Disturb Service
Basic right of Provacy and Peace of mind

Hi,

I believe everybody will be happy that now we have the 'Do Not Disturb' service. However, the problem does not end just there. When ever you call any service provider to activate this service, they ask you for 30-45 days for the service to be completely functional.

Q 1: WHY SHOULD IT TAKE 30-45 DAYS TO TAKE YOUR NAME OUT OF THE CALLING LIST?

COMPANIES SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO CALL ANY PERSON FOR ANY PROMOTIONAL WORK WITHOUT HIS FORMAL APPROVAL. (Currently its the other way round and takes so much time.)

It takes just a few seconds to minutes to subscribe to any service. Then, why 45 days to unsubscribe?

NEED:

1) Companies should not be able to call any person for any promotional work, unless they take such formal authorization.

If the mentioned above, is not possible:

2) The DND service should be activated immediately or at the most in a day.

I request all who can help us, to keep and retain our right of peace and privacy in our lives.
