Dr.Subhash Agal, Kokilaben Ambani Hospital
Wrong Diagnosys & Wrong Treatment

Miscellaneous

I regret to mention that, I have been rubbed on the wrong side by Dr. Subhash Agal, Medial practicing Gastroenterologist, working at KDA (Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital) Andheri Seven Bunglow.

It so happened that due to acute abdominal pain, I got admitted to KDA, Hospital, after being discharged on dtd.30/08, at around 12.30 am., after giving me pain killers, and subsiding the pain. After re occurrence of pain I had to be readmitted on the same morning at around 6.00 am under the able Dr. Brajesh Bhuta, who again discharged me after treatment and hospital stay for 01 ONE day, with an advice to see him after 4/5 days.

During my hospital stay, a CT Scan was done and multiple Gall Bladder stones were detected, inside the

GB, hence was advised some rest, so that the active stones might also settle, so that Laproscopically GB could be removed.

When we visited Dr, Bhuta, on the 07/09/10, with an LFT test, I had been diagnosed with Obstructive Jaundice presumably due to some stone blocking the path of Bile Juice flow from Gall Bladder / Liver to the large Intestine thru the Common Bile Duct (CBD), The case was hence referred to Dr. Subhash Agal to do ERCP, and open up the CBD and removal of stone/s if any, and place a sten for smooth flow of Bile Juice, through the CBD.

On advice from Dr. Brajesh, I had agreed to Dr. Subhash Agal conducting the ERCP, on the 09/09 at around 2.30 p.m.. On coming back from the sedation, at around and inquiring with Dr. Agal, that I was informed that the ERCP was unsuccessful and that he had worked on the same for around almost (02) Two Hours. Again on the assurance that sometimes it happens that they don't succeed in their first trial that he convinced me for a second ERCP on the next day itself. At around the same time the next day one more try was conducted by Dr. Agal for an approximately amount of time i.e. 02 hrs, with the same result (Failed). Once more on confrontation with Mr Agal, after coming from Sedation, I Had been informed by the learned Dr. Agal, that I need to try with some other SOUTH MUMBAI based GOOD Dr., at some GOOD Hospital, and he knows some of them whom he could refer me to. My Instant question to Dr Agal was to pl. provide me in writing what he had mentioned Orally to me, and also clarify whether HE WAS NOT A good Dr. and also if the Hospital where I am admitted was not a GOOD Hospital, to which he had no answer.

Also in our discharge card prepared manually, which is not usually a case with KDA, they have mentioned that I had been subjected to 02 ERCP's in Two days without giving us a CD of the ERCP, that they usually provide, on conducting successful ERCP's. The incident had left us shattered and our problem aggravated from earlier both mentally and physically.

I hereby request you to kindly request each and every one to kindly throw caution before handing over yourself and case to Dr. Subhash Agal, at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, who might take your body and your case as a trial run for his learning process like me, and also not providing me the CD of the ERCP, so conducted on me for 02 days in continuation for 02 hours per day.

Pl. note that it is never advisable to allow a foreign particle like ERCP cable inside your body for two 02 hours per day for 02 days, piercing your inner parts of the body, is what even basic laymen like us can also understand.
