DTC bus driver
Accident by DTC drive

Miscellaneous

Today i.e. on 11.8.2011 at around 18.20 hrs. while coming from Mehrauli to Gurgaon by car, I was waiting for green light at IFFCO chowk, Gurgaon towards left side of the road near the point where road coming from IFFCO metro station meets the MG road. Meanwhile, a green line DTC bearing No. DL 1P C 2912 came ahead from my left side. Although there was no space on the left side, however, the driver chose to climb on the raised road side and went ahead hitting my car badly all along from the left side. I blew horn constantly, but he did not stop. When he had to stop due to traffic blockage, I caught hold of him and he said that he is parking the bus on the left side. Meanwhile the light went green and he rushed the bus. I went upto Gurgaon general bus stand and waited there. After some time the same driver was seen in bus No. DL 1PC 7919. I recognize the driver very well - about 40 years old, thin body, height about 5'-5" with darkish complexion. I again caught hold of him there, but he straightaway refused that he met with the accident. The staff at the DTC controlling booth also didn't help me. They even didn't tell me the driver's name. My car is badly hit all along left side and the damage won't be less than 15 to 20, 000 Rs. I would request the Management to take necessary action, so that I am compensated suitably.

Raj Kumar.
