Gifts Missing... Parcel tampered

I received a parcel from one of my friends. To my utter surprise, I found the parcel was opened, then again sealed with a cello tape. The chocolates inside were missing. When called the booking office for a compliant, they say this generally happens that the parcel may be opened or the stuff inside may be missing.
