Cheeting me by giving a false infermation about product

Dear Sir,
I purchased water purifyer from Eurekha Forbes at Eluru West god Dist Ap, while purchasing the product some one told me that we need to refill the filters every month, i personally asked the sales executive he said it is not necessary ..i told him i will not purchase it if it is the case he promised me it is not required, after a few months it started giving trouble we informed his one of the service peerson came to our home and he is saying that it need new filters to be installed worth 3000 and it should be ever year... called the eurekha forbes office they are saying that we have not given any written commitment do what ever you can, and the most surprising thing is now they are dwmanding 3500 for the filters pls help he.
