Refund of taxes for cancellation of air ticket

Have booked two tickets for mumbai kolkatta from ezeego. somehw cannot travl on same dates and told ezeego to reschedule--which they say is not possible. Have told them in that case pls cancel... and refund taxes to which they deny saying as pert company policy taxes shall not be refunded since it was a free ticket. terms and conditions nowhere mentions no refund of taxes&spoke with 25 different CSA's and theit team leader aswell... however they dont support. told them to give it on mail that they shall not refund&BUT IN VAIN. told them to mail me the rule book stating no refund of taxes whcih again they are not ready too. have still not got the tickets cancelled--WHAT IS THE LAW??
