Defective Shoe

I Bought this pair of shoe for Rs1595/-, from this showroom in April and used them for one and a half months however the stitching of the shoe started to open. Than I gave this pair of shoeon 18-07 to the shop manager, and he said we take full reponsibility of our product and it would be taken care off. You can take this pair from us on 27-07. Now its been 15 days, after the committed time frame and when ever I call them or go to them they say it would take 2 days more. Tis has happened for four times. Its been a very pathetic experience with that shop. Can something be done to teach a lesson to people like these.
