Road Safety at Indirapuram

Accidents on the recently renewed road of Indirapuram connecting Vasundhara to NH-24, have increased due to increased heavy vehicles on this road. Particularly between the patch from Petrol pump near DPS School upto Shanti Gopal Hospital, there is a curve and there are 4-5 breaks in the divider. The truck drivers & taxi drivers treat it as a highway and speed at 80 kmph.

Some measures need to be taken to check the speeds by providing suitable speed-breakers and restricting entry of heavy vehicles by putting barriers in this highly residential area. Hope GDA authority takes notice of this and takes necessary action before it costs invaluable lives.
