Invalid IMEI No

I have a GEEPEE 3260 handset having a IMEI No 359085092006905 purchased from Kamala Enterprise, 19 Garihat Road, Kolkata 19, Phone No being 2871-0711/9831244976 dated 19/11.

Here I like to mention that, I have received a SMS & phone call from my Service Provider (Aircel & Airtel) that I have an Invalid IMEI No. While calling up Aircel Customer Care and sending a SMS to the prescribed No 53232, they have confirmed that my IMEI no is invalid and has advised me to validate my IMEI no.

Now when I had a talk with GEEPEE customer care executive, he has stated that my IMEI no is Valid. I am unable to understand the position wherein I'm placed. I do expect that you would guide me to come out from this position.
