Egarding clearing of the cheque

Dear Sir

I have a running current account with ICICI Bank Daryaganj Branch with account no. 033305001839.

On 20th sep' 09 i issued one cheque to BBB Automobiles company of 36427 rupees. for purchasing a TVS Bike for my sisters marriage.

Surprisingly when on 25th i went to the TVS Showroom to collect the BIKE (as they said earlier that after clearing the cheque i can take the bike), they treated me and my would be brother in law very harshly saying we are a fraud, cheat and bla bla.

Reason that my cheque had been returned with a label of account closed.

I called customer care they said no such cheque has been presented so far, when i told this to showroom owner he gave me the report of clearing house where it was mentioned - Acconut closed reason.

I was helpless and got humiliated there, i complained this to ICICI Bank Paharganj Branch on that day only, but still no reply has come from ICICI Bank.

And the final result is that the marriage of my sister has been cancelled as the groom party considered us as a fraud.

Please help and give us proper judgement.

I have the xerox copy of clearing hose report and the cheque which i issued.
