Defect in motherboard

Sir i bought a motherboard of gegabytes company few days back. when i got it home and called a computer person to install it he said that its not working. i took it back to nehru place where i actually bought it to complain. but the person refused to replace it and put the whole blame on me and told me to go to gegebytes company. sir i bought it from nehru place so i should get it replaced from there. it's in 3 years warranty. i got it for 2100 bugs. kindly help me out sir.
