Postal Life Insurance (Endowment Assurance)

Dear Sir,

I had taken a Postal Life Insurance (Endowment Assurance) bearing policy number 205061C for Rs.20, 000/- in the name of Devendra Prakash Saxena from Chandigarh on 21.3.1979. The said policy now stands matured on 5.9.2008. I have already made correspondence with the Dy. Divisional Manager, PLI, UP Circle, Lucknow and personally handed over the original policy and the payment receipts of the premiums made both in Chandigarh and Kanpur on 3.10.2008. He had assured me that the matured amount of the said policy would be sent to Delhi Post Office since I am staying in Delhi at the following address: -

But since then, I have not yet received any information or communication. Neither any status is known to the post office near my house i.e. Indraprastha Post Office in Civil Lines. Sir, it is my sincere request to you to kindly help me knowing the status of the matured policy remittance.
