Check Default against the surrender of plot

Dear Sir,

I booked a plot of 100sq m at Rs. 4000 per sq ft.with this developer in 2006 and paid Rs. 1, 60000 in two installemets with a promise that I will be alloted plot within one year.

But when I did not get any allotment for two years I surrendered my plot in January. This company gave me two checks for Rs. 60000 & Rs. 80000 to be honoured in the month of June & July.

One check of Rs. 60000 was honoured but the other check of Rs. 80000 was dishonured. Thereafter they gave a written promise to give DD of Rs. 80000 witthin 20 days. On the commitement date the company did not fulfil the obigation. They said that they are not willing to pay the rest of amount.

Please help me in this regards because this comapny is a fraud company and they are looting general public in this manner.

It will be great help to society and to me if you can help in taking stringent action against this company.
