Is it legitimate

I got a job offer as a Public Relations Officer from Halliburton Oil Services UK in February of which I have already signed the contract after an online interview. In the contract it is stated that I am entittled to earn 4000 GBP a month with the following benefits

- A quality single or family housing

- 2000 Pounds which will be paid to me for personal effect on shipments and access baggage

- 2800 per month will be paid as educational assitance bennefit

- 2500 travel and entertainment business trip and

- 3000 pounds for a 4 week vacation (granted or requested by employee)

It is stated again in the contract that payments on shipment and obtaining of the neccessary documents will be paid for by me, and I will be reimbursed after my work permit is approved.

I was supposed to have resumed my duties on the 05th Of April, but due to delays on obtaining the work permits resumption date was rescheduled.

After sgning the contract, a uk immigration lawyer, Mr Donald Michael contacted me, via email, to help me obtain the neccessary documents, the security clearance, AIG insurence, work and resident permits as well as the authentication of my certificate. I was requested to make diffrent payments, 950 Pounds for clearence cerificate, 1160 Pounds for authentification and AIG insurence for the above documents to be obtained. After making all the paiments I recieved scanned coppies of all the documents and a scanned copy of a bank draft whic is for reimbursement, first month entiltlement and shipment. I was again asked to pay 520 Pounds so that the originals can be sent to me as they will be needed at the British Embassy in my country for the releasing of multi visas, and at the bank for clearence of the funds. Today as I am sending this email, I am still waiting for the immigration lawyer to send them after I failed to pay the 520 Pounds due to bankrumpcy. He, the lawyer, said is waiting for my employer, Halliburton, to cover the needful sothat I can receive the documents in time. It has been a week since I never heard neighther from my employer nor the immigration lawyer despite me sending for them.

However, the adresses and the telephone numbers in the contract matches the ones in Halliburton website, the calls I received were made from the same UK number. The contract was endorsed with the signature of Project Director, Bryan Clark Givens.

Please assist. Due to this week long qietness when I thought we are about to finish the process, do I have a reason to suspect a fowl play?
