Luggage missing during travelling

My self Pankaj Tiwari working in Cipla Limited Indore and my home town is Kanpur (UP). on the date of 24.01. my ticket is booked in Hans travels from Indore to kanpur. i traveled from indore to kanpur on 24.01.2012 with my wife and daughter. i was having one air bag and one trolley bag with me. In indore Bus conductor putted my trolley bag in storage cabinet (Dickie) of bus along with luggage of other passengers with out any receipt. The bag contains our cloths and some valuable jewellery items when we reached kanpur on 25.01.2012 at around 12:00 AM. when i went to the bus conductor to collect my luggage, the cabinet was empty and my luggage was not there. I immediately informed to indore office by phone, he told me to contact kanpur office. i went there and meet with Mr. Narendra. he told me that i am unable to do any thing and you are free to do complaint in police. immediately i meet with Mr. Dharmenda (sr. police officer) of Fazalganj police station. he told me to file an application in writing. i given an application to Fazalganj police station at same time. Police submitted my application but refuse to give any copy of that. after that i approach several times to travel agency and police but neither police nor travel agency gives me any status about my complaint.
