I purchased a HCL Bean Stalk PC (wireless key board, Wireless Mouse) in October for Rs. 56, 000/- with extended warranty upto 3 years i.e. upto September. My HCL Sl No. is A064AQ150605. Since its purchase the wireless keyboard started giving problems and this has been replaced by HCL more than 6 times. Now I lodged a complaint on 21st January vide Comp. No. 211090171 that the key board is again not working and after some days the same was replaced. The next day after replaced again some keys did not function and when I contacted the service centre, they told me that they will replace it with a wired key board. I agreed to having a wired key board provided they it was a new one; But once again they gave me an old key board and I found that the number keys were not working. Since then I have been contacting the service centre but nothig has happened till now. Though the HCL Service Centre's response to a complaint is immediate and Mr. Subhan Raina is doing a wonderful job as Customer Care Head, getting access to the only available customer care number for Computer Complaints i.e. 95120-2425465 is very difficult and cumbersome. Only after repeated dialing for more than 15 minutes, you can get that number. HCL is a premier organisation and cannot afford a dent in their reputation in the Customer Care department, that too at this recession time. Is Mr. Shiv Nadar listening...
