HCL CMOS Battery Problem

Dear Sir/Mam,

This is to inform that i bought a HCL laptop last December and had experienced a CMOS battery problem as the battery had gone down within 7 months. I took it to a service station in New Delhi which was nearly 40kms from my place as they informed me that there are no service stations in Gurgaon. It took great pain to get the problem resolved just to find that the same has re-occurred again. I did some investigations at my end and i have come to know that this particular model of HCL has this problem which is known. The guy at the service center also told me that it’s a known issue with this model (P2114). My question is -Why is HCL still producing products which they know are not working properly. What can be done to my situation as my warranty period has lapsed just 2 days back and I don’t know where to go. Even if I pay and get the battery replaced i know that it will re-occur again in 3 months.
