Hdfc bank credited double

The hdfc bank credited double money in account and later after 8 months the Vostro Dept Preeti Marath is writing email and asking the same to deposit the duplicate credit to the bank: Mail received from HDFC BANK: There has been a duplicate credit in your account with us (A/C no xxxxxx), first on 21/04/07 & second on 23/04/07 for INR 4732.00 under reference number PON/xxxxxxx. We are unable to reverse this credit due to insufficient funds in your account. Hence request you to fund your account at the earliest so that we can reverse the duplicate entry & return the funds to the remitting bank.
