High Speed Fans - 1200 rpm
Defective Bearing and low speed

Dear Sir,

I bought 3 high speed fans from Ranjit Electricals located at Manish Nagar shopping complex located at 4 bungalows, Andheri west. To my dismay, I found all the three fans defectives. The defects are as under:

1) Defective Bearing - Bearing was replaced but knocking sound still persist.

2) Low Speed - Informed to attending technician from service contractor, but did not respond.

3) Bad positioning of bearing - The technician tried to correct the positioning of bearing but knocking sound makes it difficult to sleep at night.

I called customer service for attending to fault. My complaint # 0905003601. As stated by call centre, technician was to attend the fault today but evenafter try calling phone # 28792047, which either was kept on hold or busy. This is what the response from AMKAY SERVICES. I tried reaching CG CUSTOMER SERVICE ON PHONE # 180041905051, message was not reachable. This may be due to some technical fault.

The main contention is, why CG has so many complaints? and why they are careless in responding to customer request to attend on their complaint. I switched over my loyalty from USHA to Crompton fans but I am repentinng as I never had any issues with USHA right from 1972 till last purchase in 2001. The fans are still good but old, hence changed to CG.

I hope CG management will have better sense and ensure their products as well as services are improved and I should not repent on spending Rs. 3600.00 on CG products. If conditions of my fans does not change, I will consider amount spent as charities.
