Repair of Laptop

I faced a suddenly shutdown in my laptop (Compaq v3239 TU) and then on while putting my laptop on charge i was getting a burning smell.
I have given it for repair at Vintech Electronic System Pvt. Ltd, Pune on 12th January.
They have charged Rs 500 for detection of fault, but then these is no response after that. I am told that i would recieve a mail abt the repair cost but its been 5 days and i haven't received any update..
Kindly ensure that the details of repair are conveyed in the next few hours, a lot of my important work is being disturbed because of this.
