I have a US purchase Laptop (dv6000 series). I bought it in July. Its out of warrenty now. I got a problem with the motherboard. I requested for replacing the motherboard (paid service) on 21st Oct.
They have not yet given me the serviced laptop saying Motherboard out of stock as out of country purchase. I had to follow up with number of people to get an update on the issue right from the person who takes the request to Manager level (more than 6-7 people). They have been making false promises that they would get the part shipped and laptop ready in 2 weeks. Its been around 2 months now and my laptop is stocked in their godown. I now seek not only my laptop but also compensation for all the losses incurred.
