Unavailability Of Service

I have bought a hp pavillion dv6000 notebook. during my first year my DVD drive was not working properly. Immediately after my warranty expired my battery went dead and I was unable to claim a new one. after completing two years my LCD panel went blank and from then it never came to normal. i took to a nearer service center a got reply that i have to spend some rs19000 to get it repaired. i felt it was not affordable and now trying to get it repaired in seconds markeet in chennai. Is there any solution???!!!
