Laptop not repaired

I submitted my high-end laptop tx1016au to their service center on Nov 22. They said that they are going to order some motherboard to resolve the problem.

Even after 3 months, and after taking all the amount in advance besides hefty service charges, they have not got it repaired.

I purchased the laptop in June. The system board of this laptop had a serious deficiency due to which there were multiple problems reported at various stages. Dell recalled a complete lot of laptops due to similar problem.

On the other hand, instead of recalling, HP takes hefty premium on the price of the bord, a high service fees, and after that it takes more than 3 months to get it repaired. This when the shelf life of a high tech product is less than 2 years as new software arrives which require more advanced hardware.

What will I do with this crap, when I get it back after 6 months; after having spent more than Rs. 1 lakhs on it.
