HSBC BANK / TOP UP
NO TOP UP (additional money) GIVEN

Miscellaneous

Dear Sir/Madam,

Earlier HSBC Bank had introduced " TOP UP LOAN " in which you get the additional amount other than the loan amount applied for. I too was explained in the same way by the executives of the loan department. I was called in their office and been told that if I take the loan amount of Rs 40, 000 now and after 6months you will get another amount of Rs.30, 000 as a TOP UP scheme in only one condition that I have to be the regular in my EMIs (which was / is Rs.2430) atleast for 6 months and my EMIs will also increase to Rs 2700 to 2800 after getting TOP UP of Rs.30, 000. Because of TOP UP I aggred to take loan of Rs. 40, 000 on March for the tenure of 30 Months.

According to the Top up scheme after September I was supposed to get the TOP UP of Rs.30, 000

because I was regular on my payments. I didn't even get a call from the bank. So after waiting till the last week of October I approached Bank. They told me to wait till the end of the year. So, again I approached the Bank in January by the time I had also written tens of e-mails to the Bank. To my surprised, they said that because of Global Crisis, Bank has stopped the TOP UP Scheme from September so they can't help. Because of this I've ended up paying more amount of money and I'm still paying my EMIs regularly because I don't want to make any bad records.

Hope you will help me and write me soon.

Thaking you,

Ajoy Majhi.
