I have sent numerous certified letters to HSBC disputing Late charge fees and sent documentation from my bank to proof that these fees were paid on time. I have followed all of the protocol for filing disputes and In my letters I have requested that they please respond in writing to my disputes. They continue to call at all hrs of the day at my work place and all weekend long. The last time i picked up the phone the representative that I spoke to was very rude and would not listen to anything I had told her. Even after I told here that I had sent disputes in writing. The agreement indicates that while charges are in dispute no late fees can be applied and no negative action to report to credit companies can take place. Yet they are sending me letters indicating that they will report me to credit Bureau and continue to add late fees on top of charges that are in dispute. I continue to pay my minimum due on time.
