Irritated by Dormant during connected to Internet

I bought a Huawei Data Card Modem, Model No. EC325 at Kota, Rajasthan (India) through BSNL Company (Internet Service Provider) approximately one month ago. Its services are satisfying but while Net surfing or downloading, it shows “Dormant” on application window below heading “Duration” and that time neither Site opens nor Data downloads.
