Unable to download pictures from pc

I have a data cable of c2900i but i want to load some ringtones from my pc (not from internet) so, how i load ringtones because when i want to connect the data cable with my pc then my pc show that a new hardware found but not show any space to paste a ringtones from my computer so, plese give me a suggestion that how i copy, paste a ringtones or any images (like my photos) etc?
