Cash payment charges

Sir,

I am a credit card holder. In my latest bill i have been charged Rs 100 service charges on cash payment.

What is this. I called the customer care but they say that I was given the intimation of the same.

Sir I wanted to know under which rule they are deducting these charges. As far as I know there is no such rule.

Please give clarification.
