I am really disappointed with the service provided by ICICI Lombard. I have applied for policy for my father. But it got rejected on medical grounds. Prior to taking the policy, I have already declared that he has recently undergone a bypass surgery, but the company agents were fine with going ahead of the Policy..
The company doctor came for the medical test at my place. The ECG & the blood pressure report were fine. But after that the policy got rejected on medical ground. I have paid Rs 600 towards the medical test only to know that the Policy is rejected because of his surgery.
Do I need an ICICI Lombard certified doctor to know about his surgery. Have I not declared it already
Moreover, I am disappointed with the kind of interaction I had with call centre agents. Whenever I call them, each one of them gives me a different story. Even after noting down the grievances for 5-6 times, they never got back with the solutions. They are not even bothered to call and address the customer...
I am really astonished with the rejection of the policy, because this is not a fair case…
