Why Should Customer Only Suffer!!

Hi,

I took the Car Insurance Policy from ICICI LOMBARD for last year. Issued a cheque dated 08-08-08 of Rs 3507 to Mr Suresh Bajpai (He got it collected via one of his staff members).

I got a policy from ICICI Lombard effective 14 Aug 08 to 13 Aug 09.

Now, When I tried to renew the policy, I came to know that my eariler policy was cancelled. I was shocked.

I asked again and same thing was told to me. My Policy was cancelled because of Cheque Bounce.

I checked my accounts and found that cheque hit my account on 21st Aug 08. So carelessness. I was having enough balance till 16th Aug 08.

I have no idea why it was held for so many days. Now why I have to suffer for all wrong done by ICICI Lombard.

Their was no communication of any sort regarding this to me.

Now When I am renewing my policy I have to pay extra and my NCB has become 0%.

Apart from them my vehicle is getting survyed again.

There are all sort of charges and my Premium amount is as high as Rs 6500 where it was supposed to be below Rs 3000 (If my last policy was not cancelled)

I request you to pls look into the matter ASAP as I am running my vehicle without insurance and is on losing side.

Looking for a support from your side.

I am losing money just because of carelessness of guys at ICICI lombard Part.
