Cheating on Insurance value

I bought this insurance policy for my car from ICICI Lombard in July. Their agent gave me the insurance value of Rs. 3, 02, 500 approx after 10% depreciation on my car value on first policy renewal however; when I received the first document from ICICI Lombard, the car value mentioned was Rs 2, 99, 500 approx to which I did not react as the difference was not major then later on after a month or so, they sent me renewed Policy cover page with new insurance value of Rs 3, 88, 000 approx. I felt cheated then and called their customer service number which was of no use they don’t listen and understand the problem at all. They asked me to visit their office which I refused as when I bought the insurance, they visited me and now when there is problem from their side, they asked me visit them.

Now I wrote to them regarding the same to which they replied in 6 days that with asking for written doc. of insurance value offered to me which I fortunately have with me.

I want to convey that don’t trust them on anything, always sign on original docs they will not leave any chance to make money and cheat the customer.
