CLAIMS ARE NEVER SETTLED

I have taken a mediclaim policy for my mother in Jan. Now my mother became ill and was hospitalized. When I went for the claim from ICICI Lombard mediclaim with all genuine reason. They have denied for the payment telling me that it is a pre existing sickness. But they have never disclosed about this type of tactics for non payment of claims before the insurance was taken. After receiving the insurance premium they have sent a very fat booklet with various clauses for non settlement of claims so that every one fits some where in the agreement and they will refuse the mediclaim. The same has happenned with me as well. This is regarding the claim submitted for Policy No: 4034/CHC/0324/7031/00/000 ON 20/02/09.
