Illegal Health Insurance Policy and Renewals

I took a house loan in Dec and I realised that an ICICI Prudential Home assure policy had come uninvited. I took the policy documents to ICICI Prudential office and cancelled it on time.

However in Oct I received a renewal notice for an ICICI policy for Rs3417 which I ignored only to realise in the next month that it has been debitted from my Savings account. I filed a complaint with ICICI Prudential over phone that I didnt receive any Health Insurance policy documents or knew that the policy was in force.

The call center agents assured that the home loan documents could be tampered and that I will receive my money back.. I only received a letter from ICICI in Jan that nothing can be done and the policy is in force.

Is there any way I can get my money back? Atleast the recent premium?
