Ecieving abusive sms

Dear sir,

i have been receiving abusive sms from an idea number 919718436299 through free sms sending service of mycantos.com.

please help me how to block these sms from reaching me. also help me identify the person to whom the number is registered. also guide me that to which authority (police.customer care..) i should approach to nab this threatening person.i will be extremely grateful to you.
