Idea Netsetter
Poor service

I was in search of broadband when i came across Idea netsetter!!! 236.8 kbps is the speed that is promised by Idea. RUBBISH!!! This is one of the worst internet connections i have come across. They charged me 2490/- for the USB and thereafter i will be charged 849/- monthly for unlimited usage. High speed internet connection they say, i seriously dont know on what basis. I have used airtle gprs and trust me when i say that its better than netsetter. It takes 15 seconds to open the main page (google). With 236.8 kbps i would expect it to open in not more than 3 seconds. Then if i have to send a mail, i have to wait for 2 minutes until the 'your message has been sent' page is displayed and most of the times the connection is lost and i have to start everything again from the scratch. HOW FRUSTRATING!!! When i tried to solve this dispute with the customer care, the answer that i got was 'Sir u leave in a remote area, thats the reason your internet is slow'..If thats the case why wasnt i informed about this when i purchased the connection? and its not there is no network connection in my area. My father uses Idea mobile and the coverage is decent.

All said and done, i have to say that I have been fooled and i dont want anyone else to fall in this trap. So please refrain from using netsetter and go for something more reliable like bsnl or vsnl.
