Both product and service sucks

Hi,

I have bought an Imate Jama phone through a website in the month of June. It took long one month to get the phone and i am not going to old stories as its over long back.

the product was not at all upto the mark and it started showing complaint as soon as i started using it. I had to give it for service at M/S Fine fone solutions at Bangalore and i got it back after a couple of days. some of the problems were rectified and the major problem was still in persistance. The coverage was soo poor and I was not able to use it inside my house and when i was using my old Nokia phone, it was all fine. I was more keen on owning a more sophisticated phone thats what led me commit the biggest mistake of my life.

I had to give this phone agin to the same service center for the same complaint. As usual the reply was they will get back to me in a day or two. When i contacted them, they told the mother board has to be replaced and it has tom come from Dubai and it may take 10 to 15 days apprx. Fine.. acceptable. I have called them after 20 days, cold reply .. it might take 10 more days and they told they will try to make it earlier. Even after regular follow up, i have not got any confirmation. Rather i am really upset with the way they reply.. its damn cold.

They have given me the service center number at Delhi to shift their responsibility. Since i was helpless I have tried that number too surprisingly that number is continuosly engaged from the last 3 days (01146545050). After that as no other options left, I had to call Fine fone once again as usual they told they cannot say anything on this as they are just employees!!! Just now i got a call from the and it was surprising to get a call from the, But the news they gave me was the shock of my life.. it will take another one month to receive the mother board.

So almost 3 monts has gone and the phone is still in the service center and my waranty is coming to an end in few months and the actual time I have used this handset is very less.

I am really cluesless now .. I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else..
