PAN provisioning

I have applied for the PAN on 9th of July at Hyderabad Office, The filed was sent to Income tax department on 12th of July, however the PAN number has not been alloted yet. It happend with more then 500 people, When enquired it was said that the e-mail has been send to then along back and they will work on it,

No one is caring about it they say it will be alloted with in 2 days and asks to move.

Is There a responsible person for this??? Its like a Jungle Rule
