Income Tax Refund

I have not received Income Tax Refund for the assessment year 06 and 07. According to the department they sent cheques to me. Then I submitted an application and filled required forms to deposit refund amount directly in my bank account. I submitted application twice. However, I have not received the refund yet. Income tax returns for both years and applications were submitted in Faridabad office. Presently I am not in India. It is not possible for me to visit the Income Tax Departement personally. Please advice me how can I get the refund. My PAN Card no. is AJAPB0002A.
