NO RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR INFORMATION UNDER RTI ACT 2006

I had sent a letter to the Public Information officer, IOC Ltd, Area Office, Kochi, Kerala requesting for some information about INDANE distributors, under RTI Act 2006. But no response till date. Text of the complaint is given below.

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION UNDER RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT

Kindly furnish the following statistics related to the consumer base of INDANE LPG in the following municipal towns/ corporations in Kerala, under the RTI Act.

1. Names of Indane distributors located within the city / municipal town shown below and the date of award of distributorship to these agencies: -

a. Kollam

b. Alappuzha

c. Kottayam

d. Thrissur (Trichur)

e. Palakkad

f. Kannur

g. Tiruvalla

h. Pala

2. Number of domestic consumers for each of these agencies

3. Number of non- domestic consumers for each of these agencies

4. Number of cylinders (domestic) supplied to each of these agencies by IOC during the month of (i) November & (ii) December.

5. Criteria or yardstick adopted by IOC for appointment of more than one distributor for INDANE in the above centres.
