Efund of railway fare

Dear Sir,

I am herewith enclosed the copy of letter sent to Dr. Monica Agnihotri (Director, Passanger Marketing) which is self explanatory.

"I enclose herewith a copy of Journey cum Reservation ticket alongwith a certificate No. 333938 dt.27-06-09 on form comml. T-12 as issued by TTE, which speaks for itself.

My PNR No.2623749393 dt.27-06-09 for train No.4520 for boarding and leaving from BATHINDA was for ACC CHAIR CAR but the Railways Authority at Bathinda changed the ACC coach into Non ACC coach and issued the aforesaid certificate evidencing the change of coach thereby enabling me to claim the difference of payment between AC and NonAc coach from Bathinda to Delhi.

I travelled in the above train alongwith my husband and about 100 other passengers on Sat.the 27th June which reached the destination at 16.00 Hrs.at Delhi. At the first instance I went to Shahdara Reservation Office, wherefrom the captioned ticket was issued on Sun.the 28th June at 14.30 hrs. for getting the refund but to my dismay I found the counter closed.

I again visited the office on Mon.the 29th. June. They directed me to DLI RLY STATION for the purpose of getting the difference of payment. But I felt totally harrased because Shd. Rly. Reservation Office should have made the payment directly, which they did not. Hence finding no other alternative I am compelled to write this letter to your goodself for taking necessary action.

I will like you to kindly let me know the authority /office from where I can get the difference of payment

between AC and Non AC so that I am not further harrassed for getting a meagre amount of about Rs.400|=. I am a senior citizen (woman). My husband (Mr. V.P.gupta, Sr. citizen) is a sick person. I am writing this letter without any prejudices to our Right for the inconnvenience caused."
