Irregularity in operation of Air Conditioning system in coaches

Sir, I traveled from Dehradun to Kathgodam and vise versa respectively on 25 and 29Nov. 2009 in train no. 4120 in AC 2 coaches. At the starting of the journey, it was very pleasent and warmth inside the coach.

Arter hour or two, we observed your technical staff and coach staff manupulating the machanism. Thereafter, slowly and slowly, the temperature inside the coach got same as to the 2nd class/sleeper class. I put my hand on the air outlet of AC inside the coach and felt that it was throwing cool air. I got surprised.

On reaching Dehradun, I enquired upon with your technical staff, who was shutting Off the AC system. At once he got shocked but later on controlled himself and answered that the cold night was behind that. I could not digest his answer because I have also some experience of using AC at homes, offices and car.

So, please look into the point in your whole system so that the passengers could not feef cheated in the AC coaches.
