Poor service on Rajdhani Train No. 2423A Coach B8 Seat 46 on April 17

I traveled from Katihaar to Delhi on the Gauhati Rajdhani 2423A (Coach B8, Seat 46), departure from Katihaar on April 17 16:20 hours. On April 18, from at least 6 a.m. through the remaining journey (for a total of five hours), there was no water in the four toilets attached to the Coach. Since I could not have imagined that such a problem would occur on a prestigeous train such as the Rajdhani, I completed my morning ablutions without checking if there was water or not. Attendants and staff were extremely rude when I requested them to bring me some water with which I could wash (specific example: one Mr. Pavan). Needless to say, the entire episode was unnecessarily embarassing and traumatic.
Further, I was not served my morning tea, despite several requests, made from 6:15 a.m. till 8:30 a.m. (specific requests made to: Bablu Kumar). I did not also receive my copy of the morning newspaper. I should also add that basic accessories such as napkins (for tea on the 17th) and salt and pepper (for breakfast on the 18th) were also not provided.
WHen I went to meet the train superintendent YK Rana at 6:30 a.m., staff Babulal Sharma and Shaliendra) said he was asleep, so I could not make a complaint on the spot. The coach managers said they could not do anything and referred me to the TS. Despite repeated requests for a complaint book, the same was not made available to me, perhaps because there wasn t one.
In the view of the extreme inconveniences to me on this so-called exclusive train, I request that due reimbursements to the cost incurred by me be made. I would also urge Indian Railways to pull up all errant parties, such as relevant contractors, managers, etc. in order to improve the quality of services in the future.
