Indian Railways
Un necessay delay of trains between Ara to Patna

Miscellaneous

On 8th November I was travelling in Archana Express 2356 DN boarded at Jammu Tavi on 7th in A1 coach bearth number 12.

The train reached Neura Station (near to Danapur Station) at 23:05 Hrs. (approx 20 minutes late) which is just 17 Km away from its destination station. It took 2 hours 45 minutes to reach Ptana Station as the train delayed at Neura, Danapur and Fulwari station.

The passengers were never informed about the resons of delay and amount of delay. Had we been informed properly we would have get down at Danapur itself and had reached home much before.

When enquired with my relative who were came to receive me at station they told me that the platforms at patna are engaged.

There is complete mismanagement in Danapur control. Most of the times the trains are delayed between Danapur and Patna Jn. station. Due to lack of clearcut information on delay passengers are suffering a lot.

Stoppage of most of the trains at Patna station is more than 10 minutes, I think this is creating bottleneck and cause management problem to the staff. The unnecessary stoppage of trains at patna station should be checked.
