POOR SERVICE

I had bought a tatkal ticket in LokManya Terminus to Shalimar express, train no-8029 in second A.C. The coach number was 868053 and date of journey was 12-06-08.

The coach condition was pathetic as there was water leakage in the coach from both the end and the Compartment in which I was sitting had no Tray in front of the mirror. The A.C was not working properly as the shutter of A.C was jammed and we can't control the flow. The temperature couldn't be controlled and after the journey I fall sick as the temperature in the coach was too low. The at tender said that the A.C in auto mode was not working.

There was cockroach in the train. The toilet condition was equally pathetic. Water logging was there all over. We expect that in long distance train, condemned coach are not fitted in the train. We are charged heavily but services provided are not even covering the basic requirement.

For railways authorities, I would request to withdraw such condemned compartment in long distance train.
