Wrong penality

Sir,

I, D.Satya Prasad working as senior geologist in Singareni calories, A.P booked an E-Ticket for me and my wife through a Government authorized booking agency, (Sameer booking agency) Silvassa. Ticket was booked through my brother working in Silvassa. Actully I have to get down at khammam but due to non availability of reservation the ticket was booked up to Chennai.

Amount: Rs 4374/

During my journey I lost my PAN card during my trip which was given for identity at the time of booking of my rail ticket. I boarded Navjeevan express at Ahmedabad on 11-10. I explained to TT about my Pan card and showed my Driving license original as identity proof and also showed my department photo identity card. TT was verified my photo identity and cleared the ticket. The train reached Bhusaval and again TT (changed) Mr. Gupta was asked my ticked and photo identity. I showed my driving license and ticket. He was not accepted my driving license and demanded for PAN card. I explained to TT about lost of my PAN card. He imposed fine Rs.6530 as the passengers are traveling without ticket. The receipt no is G217575.

Request: There are certain rules and regulations in Indian railways. As a Govt. employ I all ways Obey the rules. It is my bad luck I lost my Pan card. Secondly I paid ticket up to Chennai instead of Khammam. I request you to kindly investigate the matter and help me to get back fine amount Rs.6530/. A line of reply is appreciated.
