Late Delivery (in 6 days) of Important Document against the claim of 3 days

I have sent my application form of 'Indira Gandhi Institute of Development and research' through speed post on 18-03 to its Mumbai address. The concerned officials confirmed that normally the consignment is delivered on third day of booking i.e. latest by 20th April' the packets would be delivered to respective recipients.

Having not received any confirmatory e-mail from the institute, I inquired from the college only to find out that my application wasn't delivered yet. Since, the last date was 23rd for the application to reach, I was annoyed and helpless. Later I discovered that the mail got delivered on 23rd. Maybe, I was lucky this time but that won't be the case always.

Delay of one more day, would have cost me an year which in any case is disastrous.

I request you to look into the matter & resolve the issue.
