Misleading service

Indiatimes shopping is one of the worst (if not the worst!) online shopping services I have seen. I say so beacuse of the following reasons:

1. Till sometime back they din't have a secure connection and anyone could trap your Credit card number. On the webpage they used to show Verisign symbol without affiliation and had to remove it after subsequent complaints.

2. Even now they are using some local security company rather than Verisign

3. Many times if you log into the site you are mapped to someone else's login and you have full access to cancel/modify someone else order! Imagine the same being done to your order!

4. I made an order for an occasion and besides charging me for delivery they could not deliver the package for more than a month and kept updating the site showing order shipped etc.. One fine day they said the "Sales Return" even without delivering the order. When I tried to call their customer care the some contact numbers on site did not work. When I reached their head office they said that it is a problem from the vendor who was the manufacturer of this brand and told me to hang on for another 2 working days and the escalation would take it's due course. They also told me what to do in case I need to cancel the order.

5. The customer service cannot trace an order if you just give them your ID and order details, 3 days later they'll come back to you and ask for more details to identify your order!

6. It takes atleast 3 working days for them to reply to any mail and in all mails they give false status or ask more information...

So shop @ indiatimes shopping at your own risk.
