India Today Book Club
Order not delivered completely

Hi,

This is to bring into your kind attention about a fraud on my order which has not been delivered completely.

I recieved a mail about a promo offer for a 20 devotional CDs pack and a holiday package worth Rs. 5000/- for just Rs. 999/- from India Today Book Club. I booked the order with order date as 3-Mar. My order was delievered on 9-Mar only with 20 CDs pack. There was no information about my holiday package. There was a website URl provided as http://offers.indiatodaybookclub.com/gifts.htm and was asked to put my Unique number alongwith my email address.

I have been trying to enter my unique number as well as my email address but everytime I am recieving the same error message ' You have made incorrect entries. Kindly check and enter once again!!! '.

I tried to call india today book club on 011-40502424 a number of times but could connect only twice after waiting on call for 10-12 minutes everytime. The customer service is at its worst and customer service representatives were so unprofessional and rude in tone and did not provide correct information. Last time I called india today book club on 10-Mar and the operator told me that my unique number is inactive and he has raised the request. The same unique number will be activated in 24 hrs. It has been now well over 48 hrs.

I am feeling cheated and feel like india today book club is a fraud and all the offers/promos are fraudulent. I am planning to lodge a complaint in Regional Cyber Crime office in Bangalore as well as my local police station. I will lodge a complaint in Consumer Forum also against India Today Book club and will send them a notice of fraud from court.
